Crescent City Rebels

The Crescent City Rebels was formed by Charlie Gai when the Metairie VFW post asked him to form a corps mainly because Chalmette had the Stardusters and New Orleans had the Southernaires and Metairie wanted a Corps. So he did start the Corps in 1960. They practiced at Metairie play ground and they marched the Mardi Gras parades until the merger with the N.O. Cadets in 1964.
